Age 73. Passed away Dec. 17, 1964 in the Burlington Memorial Hospital. Mr. Wieners was born in Spring Prairie Township on Feb. 20, 1891 to Edward and Katherine Rossmiller Wieners and spent his early life in Burlington. In St. Mary's Catholic Church, Burlington, on Dec. 11, 1943, he was married to Carrie Krause Bauman and following their marriage resided in Burlington. He had been employed at the Cudahy and Swift Co. and with Harry Terry ran the Stop & Shop Market and for the past 20 years had worked for the Dick Huening Locker & Market. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, was a veteran of World War I and a member of Ross Wilcox Post, American Legion, Burlington. Surviving are his wife, Carrie; one son, A. E. Wieners Jr., St. Joseph, Mich.; one daughter, Mrs. Don (Jean) Buchman of Milwaukee; one daughter-in-law; one son-in-law; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Frank and Fred Wieners, Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Floyd (Edie) Hensel, East Troy, Wis. and Mrs. Horace (Dora) Hensel, Burlington. Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 21, 9:30 a.m., in St. Mary's Church, Burlington, Msgr. Joseph J. Heim officiating. Interment will be in St. Charles Cemetery. Friends may call at the SCHUETTE, WERTH & DANIELS FUNERAL HOME, 157 S. Pine St., Burlington, Sunday afternoon after 3 oclock. The Rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 7:30. Graveside services will be conducted by the Ross Wilcox Post of the American Legion.
