Age 83. Passed away Sept. 10, 1972 at the Burlington Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Robers was born on Jan. 24, 1889 in Burlington, to Henry and Mary Uhlenhake Richter, spent her early life in Burlington and was educated at St. Mary's, Burlington. On Jan. 27, 1914, in St. Mary's Church, Burlington, she was married to Bernard Robers and he preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 1966. Following their marriage, they lived in the Town of Wheatland and the Town of Randall. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and Christian Mothers. Surviving are three sons, Robert, Edmund and Richard, all of Burlington; two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Margaret) Grulick of Burlington and Mrs. Ed (Bernice) Elderbrook, Burlington; 16 grandchildren; two brothers, Theodore Richter and Henry Richter, both of Burlington; one sister, Mrs. Henry (Matilda) Nienhaus of Burlington; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 13, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Alphonsus Church, New Munster the Rev. P. Grabauskas will officiate. Interment will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday after 4 p.m. at the MC CARTHY-KOENIG FUNERAL HOME, 473 Milwaukee Ave., Burlington. Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
