Mrs. Bernard (Dorothy) Hofner, died today at Burlington Memorial Hospital. She had been a resident of Hillcrest Nursing Home for five years.
She was born in New Munster, Oct. 23, 1888, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Elbert.
On Oct. 15, 1907 she married Beranrd Hofner in New Munster. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in 1972.
She was a member of St. Alphonsus Church, and the Christian Mothers' Society.
Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Marion Rossmiller, Burlington, two sons, Charles W., of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Robert B., New Munster; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren nad and one brother, William of Williams Bay, Wis.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
HOFNER—Funeral services for the late Mrs. Bernard (Dorothy) Hofner, of New Munster, Wisc., who passed away Monday, June 17th, will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, New Munster. Interment following in church cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 P.M. Tuesday (TODAY) at the McCarthyKoenig Funeral Home, 473 Milwaukee Ave., Burlington. Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7:30 P.M.
