Simon J. Hoelz, 3400 S. 27th street was electrocuted Saturday while working at the Milwaukee ordnance plant, Milwaukee, local relatives have been advised. Mr. Hoelz was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hoelz, and was born in New Munster. Much of his life was spent in Burlington. Eleven years ago he left this city to make his home in Chicago, and moved to Milwaukee a year ago.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Eva Hoelz, Milwaukee, his mother, Mrs. Dora Hoelz, Burlington, three sisters, Mrs. Raymond Lewis, Lake Worth, Fla., Mrs. Harold Bechtel and Mrs. Raymond Kent, Bridgeport, Conn.; and by five brothers, John Hoelz, Wilmette, Ill., Edward Hoelz, Chicago, Leo Hoelz, Gray's Lake, Ill., Joe Hoelz, Burlington, and C. P. O. William Hoelz. U. S. N., presently stationed at Great Lakes.
Funeral services were held today at Marinette, Wis.
