Philip John Hoelz

 

Philip John Hoelz, 76, of River Bend, died Sunday at his residence.

He had retired from McGraw Hill Publishing Company in 1982. He had also served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and served in the South Pacific. He was a member of the River Bend Golf and Country Club.

A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Sunday at Cotten Funeral Home.

He is survived by his widow, Vivian Hoelz.

Donations may be sent to the Craven County Home Health-Hospice Agency, P.O. Box 12610, New Bern, 28561.
