Albert John Kerkman, 89, 34701 45th St., town of Wheatland, died Thursday (April 8, 1993) at Mount Carmel Care Center, Burlington.
A son of Henry and Helen (Albert) Kerkman, he was born May 25, 1903, in Wheatland.
He attended St. Alphonsus School.
On Oct. 22, 1929, he married Bertha Henning at St. Francis Xavier Church, Chicago. She died July 30, 1973.
A was a farmer and lifelong Wheatland resident. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, New Munster, and the Catholic Order of Foresters.
Survivors include two nephews, Glen Thompson, Kenosha, and Ignatius Robers, Burlington, and a niece, Imelda Alby, Burlington.
He also was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Edwin, and two sisters, Mary Robers and Eleanore Thompson.
KERKMAN—Funeral services for the late Albert John Kerkman, resident of Wheatland, WI who passed away Thursday, April 8, will be held on Monday, April 12 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, New Munster, WI., With Rev. Robert Massey officiating. Interment will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday at 9:30 A.M. at the church until time of services. McCarthy-Koenig Funeral Home is serving the family.
