Age 101. Passed away Saturday, October 2, 1976 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls as a result of an auto accident on September 25. Mrs. Ketterhagen was born in the Town of Burlington on October 20, 1874 to John and Mary (Richter) Busch. She spent her early life in Burlington. In 1895 at St. Alphonsus Church in New Munster, she was united in marriage to John Ketterhagen who preceded her in death in 1923. Following their marriage they lived in Burlington until moving to Thorp in 1919. Mrs. Ketterhagen was a Housewife and was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thorp, Wis. and the Christian Mother's Society of the Church. She celebrated her 100th Birthday in 1974, Surviving are two sons, Herbert and Raymond Ketterhagen, both of Stanley, Wis.; 17 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Charles (Laura) McCourt of Burlington. She was preceded in death by four sons, one daughter, seven brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 7, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Burlington with the Rev. Msgr. Leonard Busch officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at the McCARTHY-KOENIG FUNERAL HOME, 101 E. State St., Burlington.
