William A. Alfs, Detroit Attorney
Services for William A. Alfs will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Roberts Funeral Home in Sarasota, Fla.
Mr. Alfs, 76, of Detroit, died Saturday at Sarasota Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
He was an attorney for 50 years and a member of Ashlar Masonic Lodge in Detroit, the State Bar of Michigan and the American Bar Association.
He is survived by his wife, Freda; a son, Alfred W.; a daughter, Mrs. Kurt Hertzfeld; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
