LUKE, MISS CATHERINE MARY
Burlington, Wis., (Wheatland)
Age 80. Passed away April 6, 1967 in the Burlington Memorial Hospital. Miss Luke was born in the Township of Wheatland on Oct. 28, 1886 to William and Anna Richter Luke, spent her early life in Wheaton Township and was educated in St. Alphonsus School, New Munster. For 60 years she had been employed by the Burlington-Brighton-Wheatland Telephone Co. Miss Luke was a member of St. Alphonsus Church, Altar Society and Catholic Order of Foresters.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Joseph (Elsie) Verhalen, Milwaukee; two brothers, Werner and Frank Luke of Wheatland.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 10:30 a.m., in St. Alphonsus Church, New Munster, Rev. P. Grabauskas officiating. Interment will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Friends may call at the McCARTHY-RUETER FUNERAL HOME, 481 Milwauke Ave., Burlington, Friday afternoon after 2 oclock. The Rosary will be recited Friday evening, 8 oclock, in the funeral home.
