Age 77. Passed away Nov. 12, 1969 in the Burlington Memorial Hospital, Mr. Luke was born in Wheatland, Wis. on July 13, 1892 to William and Anna Richter Luke, spent his early life in Wheatland and was educated in Wheatland and New Munster, Wis. On June 17, 1919, in St. Alphonsus Church, New Munster, he was married to the former Ada Dean and following their marriage they lived in Wheatland. He was a retired building contractor. Mr. Luke was a member of St. Alphonsus Church. Surviving are his wife, Ada; two sons, Richard and Donald Luke, both of Wheatland, Wis.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Werner Luke, Wheatland, Wis.; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Ver Halan, Wauwatosa, Wis. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 10 a.m. in St. Alphonsus Church, New Munster, Rev. P. Grabauskas officiating. Interment will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Friends may call at the MCCARTHY RUETER FUNERAL HOME, 481 Milwaukee Ave., Burlington, Friday after 4 p.m. The Rosary will be recited Friday evening, 8 oclock, in the funeral home.
