The 1940 Census Record...
Some may question this, but I'm confident enough to add it. The information was NOT given by them (no circled X). Dubois, OH doesn't exist. But Dubois looks a lot like Auburn, which is where they were living in 1935. Finally, there's no question they were living in Carthage, MO in 1940 and this entry fits SO many other matches, First name (last name if you look sideways enough), ages, etc.
