Edward R. Babich, 58, of 9242 Glenwood tr, Brecksville, a former Brewster resident, died Sunday at his residence following a long illness.
Mr. Babich was a retired employe of Norfolk & Western Railway and was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lavola Babich; a daughter, Mrs. William (Rosemary) Bozo of Maryland; a son, Jerome Babich of the home; his father, Jerney Babich of Canton; three sisters, Mrs. William (Mary) Brown of Columbus, Mr. Robett (Pauline) Fieglist of Cleveland and Mrs. Dennis (Gertrude) Nicklin of Brewster; two brothers, John Babich and Eugene Babich, both Of Cleveland. He was preceded in death by his sister Johanna and his mother Caroline.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Charles Nosek Funeral Home in Brecksville. Interment will be made in a Brecksville cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 10.

The funeral of Edward R. Babich, 58, of 9242 Glenwood tr, Brecksville, a former Brewster resident, will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Basil's Catholic Church, Brecksville. Interment will be made in a Brecksville Cemetery.
The body is at the Charles Nosek Funeral Home in Brecksville, where friends may call today until 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m.
The obituary on Monday was in error in reporting that the funeral was to be held at the funeral home.
