Lauretta Herke, age 98 passed away on Thursday November 1, 2018. Lauretta was born April 25, 1920 in Denver, Colorado. She is survived by her loving family; daughter Joan (Tom) Meitler, son Richard (Judith) Herke, grandchildren; Bill Meitler, Steve (Seana) Meitler, Kenny (Denise) Meitler, and Garcelle Herke, also six great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Lauretta was preceded in death by her first husband, William Day and her second husband John Herke, a son Butchie Day and brothers Wayne Perry and Robert Perry.
A memorial service for Lauretta will be held Monday, November 19, 2018, 11:00 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2100 Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, Colorado.
