Louis Richter, 81, Dies at Sheldon
Funeral services for Louis J. Richter, 81, of Sheldon, were held Saturday, January 29, 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Catholic Church with the Rev. Cletus Keleher officiating. Burial was in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery at Ashton under the direction of Andringa Funeral Home of Sheldon.
Mr. Richter died Thursday, January 27, in the Sheldon Community Hospital.
Louis J.Richter was born on Sept. 23, 1890 In Rock Valley. He moved to Ashton and in 1969 to Sheldon. He married Anna Marie Hatting on Feb. 1, 1916 at Ashton. She preceded him in death. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors are two sons, Elmer and Norbert of Sheldon, two daughters, Mrs. Victor (Mildred) Marnach of Sheldon and Mrs. Don (Marcella) Luton, 46 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
