Ashton (From the Leader)
Last Tuesday morning at 9:30 a very pretty wedding was performed at the Catholic church uniting Frances Schoo and Frank Richter. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Hoffman. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Schoo, who reside on a farm three and one-half miles east of town. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Barney Richter of this place. Miss Lena Schoo, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid and John Schoo, a brother of the bride, was best man. The bride was dressed in a Bergundy suit and wore a white hat, while the bridesmaid was dressed in a Bergundy suit with hat to match. Both the groom and best man were dressed in blue serge. The young couple are both well known in Ashton and vicinity and the Leader joins with their many friends in wishing them many years of married bliss.
