John H. Weber, 90, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away May 26, 2013. He was born November 2, 1922 in Dayton, OH to Walter and Margaret Weber. John was a WWII Army veteran. He owned Cindaco, an Engineering & Design company for the aggregate industry. He began wintering in Punta Gorda, Florida in 1979 and moved full time to this area in 1984 from Dayton, OH. That same year he and his son John, created the business, Power Belt Scales in Virginia. Locally, he was the owner and consultant for the John Weber & Assoc. dealing in the aggregate industry. He was a member of St Katherine Drexel Roman Catholic Church and the German American Club, both in Cape Coral, FL. John enjoyed playing golf and was a big sports fan. He is survived by his children, Clare (Robert) Pytel; John (Gul Ozyegin) Weber; Elizabeth (Larry) Heil; Mary (Steve) West and Julie (Rick) Melvin; daughter-in-law, Jo Weber; grandchildren, Kimberly, Holly, Heather, John R., Joseph D, Amanda, Catherine, Julie, Nichole, Jennifer, Matt and Kassandra; 11 great grandchildren and a brother, Joe Weber. He was predeceased by his wife, Catherine Weber October 14, 2000 and his son, Joe Weber May 5, 2010. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Wednesday May 29, 2013 at the St Katherine Drexel Roman Catholic Church, 1922 SW 20th Ave, Cape Coral, FL 33991. Inurnment will take place at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in memory of John be made to the Ave Maria University, 5050 Ave Maria Blvd, Ave Maria, FL 34142 or to The Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation, 315 Clay St, Carey, OH 43316.
