MINNEART-RICHTER
Miss Emma Minneart and Mr. E.H. Richter were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Minneart, at Madison, S.D., Tuesday, in the presence of a number of relatives and friends.
The bride is the accomplished and talented daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Minneart, former residents of this vicinity, but now located at Madison, S.D. For several years she worked in the Foppe Pioneer Store where she made many friends. She is a young lady of pleasing manners and is highly respected by all who know her. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Richter of Rock Valley. He has lived in this vicinity practically all his life and is a most exemplary young man, and had many friends wherever he is known. Mr. and Mrs. Richter will live on a farm northwest of Rock Valley.
Among those who attended the wedding were, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Richter, John Richter, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Haas, Mr. and Mrs. D.A. Crowley, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Richter, Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Schemmer, and two children, Clarence and Elvira, W.B. Al and Lawrence Richter, Misses Elizabeth McGill, Tena and Eva Trebon, and Mary Flynn.

Mrs. Emma Richter
MADISON, S.D.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas Catholic Church for Mrs. Emma Richter, 76, who died Wednesday at a local hospital.
Emma Minnaert was born June 9, 1895, in Belgium. She was married to Edward Richter at Madison May 25, 1920.
Survivors include six sons, Francis, Sherburn, Minn.; Donald, Marshall, Minn.; Earl, Canton; Vernon, Huron; Harold, Freemont, Neb., and William, Hancock, Minn.; three daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Hunter, Norfolk, Va.; Mrs. John Murphy, Mitchell and Mrs. Everett Metcalf, Pullman. Wash.; 38 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Erma Fitzpatrick, Sioux Falls, and Mrs. Albin Johnson and Mrs. Alice VanHove, both of Madison; and a brother, Ray Minnaert, Seattle, Wash.
A scripture service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday at the Weiland Funeral Chapel.
