Miss Margaret McCourt passed away last Thursday evening at the home of her niece, Mrs. John Morrow, near Kansasville aged nearly 82 years.

Miss McCourt fell about two months ago, sustaining a broken limb, since which time she has gradually failed. While it had been felt for many days that she could not get well, the announcement of her demise was received with regret by those who knew her.

Margaret McCourt was born in Sylvester, near Quebec, Canada, June 27, 1841, and came to the state at the age of eight years. She received most of her education in the district schools of Racine county.

There survives two sisters, Katie and Susan of Denver, Colorade, who have been at bedside throughout her illness. The funeral took place Monday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church in Dover.
