Catherine McCourt To Be Buried Friday In Dover Cemetery
KANSASVILLE, Wis., Feb. 5

 

Miss Catherine McCourt, 87, last of the pioneer McCourt family, died Tuesday evening at the home of her niece, Mrs. John Morrow, with whom she had been living for the past nine years.

Miss McCourt, the daughter of the late; Frank and Susan McCourt, who were among the first settlers of Racine county, coming from Canada, was born Nov. 1, 1853, in the of Dover. She resided in Denver several years, returning to Dover nine years ago.

Attended Sunnyside School.
Besides Mrs. Morrow, Miss McCourt is survived by another niece, Mrs. George Yanny, of Racine; seven nephews, George Bolton of Racine, Frank, William and Edward McCourt of Dover; John, Charles and Roy McCourt of Burlington; besides 16 grand-nieces and nephews and 12 great-grand—nieces and nephews.

Miss McCourt was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church of Dover, and attended the Sunnyside school when she was a child.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30 a. m. in St. Mary's church, with Rev. John Risch officiating. Burial will be in Dover Catholic cemetery.
