Lenice Marie Scholbrock, age 92, of Belvidere and formerly of Redding, CA passed away peacefully Friday April 21, 2017. Born on in Plattville, WI on March 25, 1925 to Vern & Glayds Calvert (Latham). She loved to garden & plant flowers and keep her house perfectly tidy. Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by children, Jill (Stephen) Martin and Gary (Cheryl) Scholbrock; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and one on the way; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Francis Scholbrock; daughter, Susan Nelson; son, Steven Scholbrock; 3 brothers; 1 sister; granddaughter, Jackie Scholbrock; and grandson, Mark Scholbrock.

Private family services held. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.

Royce S. “Steve” Scholbrock, 70, of Cuba City, WI passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015 at home. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8th at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI with Pastor Dan Verdegan officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday, December 8th at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI.
Steve was born on July 27, 1945 to Francis & Lenice (Calvert) Scholbrock in Lancaster, WI. He married Linda L. (Coley) Wild on August 1, 1987 in Potosi, WI. He worked for over 30 years at John Deere Dubuque Works. Steve was a member of the UAW and enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, an avid outdoorsman and time spent with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Steve is survived by his wife, Linda of Cuba City, WI; a daughter, Rhonda (Steve) Day of Dubuque, IA; 2 sons: Michael Scholbrock and Steven Scholbrock; 3 stepchildren: Todd Wild of Melbourne, IL, Tammy Stonko of Dubuque, IA and Tony Wild of Cuba City, WI; his mother, Lenice, a brother Gary (Cheryl) Scholbrock both of Belvedere, IL; a sister, Jill Davis of Santa Clarita, CA; 2 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francis, a daughter Jackie and a sister, Susan Nelson and a son-in-law, Frank D. Stonko.
