Percy Keegan of Rock Valley and Miss Cecelia Whalen of Larchwood were united in marriage at the St. Mary's Catholic church in Larchwood, Ia. by Rev. Father H. A. Janse, on Saturday morning, May 22.

Funeral mass for Cecilia Keegan, 89, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, were held Tuesday at St. Joseph Cathedral, Sioux Falls, with interment in St. Michael's Cemetery.

She died Thursday, August 8, 1991, in Ross Convalescent Care in Campbell, California.

Cecilia Whalen was born March 6, 1902, in rural Rock Rapids. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in Larchwood and taught for three years in rural Larchwood schools.

On May 22, 1937, she married Percy Keegan in Larchwood. She worked in the office of O.P. Skaggs and for Fred Traub Machinery. They moved from Larchwood to Sioux Falls in 1941.

Her husband died in December, 1982.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Dallas (Sharon) Denery of Canpbell; three grandchildren; one brother, Leonard Whalen of Valentia, California, and two sisters, Mrs. Jeni Klein and Mrs. Mable Mundt, both of Sioux Falls.
