Double Wedding Is Held at St. Mary's
Festina
At St. Mary's Catholic church, Miss Clara Mae Scholbrock and LaVerne Baures, and Miss Martha Scholbrock and Edward Bedward were married Sept. 25 by the Rev. Henry P. Nosbisch.
Miss Violet Baures and Miss Rita Lou Junk were the maids of honor; Miss Phyllis Schoeven and Miss Irene Scholbrock were bridesmaids. John Scholbrock and LaVerne Kipp were the bestmen, and Robert Scholbrock and Marcelius Tillman were ushers.
The brides are daughters of Mr. and Mrs. William Scholbrock. The bridegrooms are sons of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baures and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bedward of Mt. Hope, Wis., where the couple will make their homes atter a wedding trip to Devils Lake, Wis.

LAVERN EDWARD BAURES
PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, Wis.
Lavern Edward Baures, 37, a Prairie du Chien resident, died Friday night at a Prairie du Chien hospital.
Friends may call at the Lake-Thornburg Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday by members of St. Gabriel's Parish. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Gabriel's Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Clara; one daughter; several brothers and sisters.
