Bernard F. “Bernie” Rosauer age 49 of Prairie du Chien and formerly of Boscobel passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital. He was born January 29, 1961 in New Hampton, IA, the son of Charles an Irma (Scholbrock) Rosauer. He married Terri Gebhard on October 16, 1980. Terri and their two sons; Chucky and Ryan perished in a house fire on February 14, 1985. He later married Kathy Wagner Kelly on April 20, 2002. He worked for Welsh Concrete, Cleary Builders and the Boscobel Area Schools. His most recent job was with Monona Wire in Monona, IA, before his health forced him to retire. He is survived by his wife Kathy of Prairie du Chien, 2 daughters; Keshia Rosauer of Prairie du Chien and Becky (Craig Meyer) Kelly of St. Olaf, IA, 2 sons; Brian (Kim) Kelly of Wichita, KS and Greg (Agnes) Kelly of Prairie du Chien, his parents; Charles and Irma Rosauer of Blue River, WI, a brother Gerald Rosauer of Blue River, 2 sisters; Connie Rosauer of Vesper, WI and Debbie (Kory) Krogen of Boscobel, 3 grandchildren; Wyatt, Austin and Leola along with his previous father and mother in law Duane and Darlene Gebhard of Boscobel. He was preceded in death by his first wife and their 2 sons.

A Memorial service will be Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel, Prairie du Chien, WI with Rev. James Weighner officiating. Interment of the cremains will be in the Boscobel Cemetery, Boscobel, WI. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 11:00 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
