Miss Mary Ellen Scholbrock, daughter Of Mr. and Mrs. William Scholbrock of Calmar, Iowa, was married Sept. 26 to Irwin Reed, son of the Orlan Reeds. The wedding took place in St. Gabriel's church, and was followed by a reception at St. Gabriel's school. The couple will live at Prairie du Chien where the bridegroom is employed at the National Decorating Co. Prior to her marriage, the bride was employed at Bucheit's Produce in Calmar.

Irwin "Brother" "Burr" Reed, 62, of Prairie du Chien died Monday, Sept. 13, 2004, in his home. He was born Dec. 11, 1941, in Prairie du Chien. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, both in Prairie du Chien. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
