Kraig B. Scholbrock, 16, of 2634 Fields Dr., Marion, died Friday, June 3, 1994, in an auto accident in north Linn County. Services: 10 a.m. Monday, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Marion, by the Rev. Jerry Kopacek. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Murdoch Funeral Home, Marion, where a Scripture service begins at 7.
Survivors include his parents, Syl and Doreen, and a brother, Kurt, all of Marion.
Also surviving is a grandmother, Hannah Behrends of Anamosa.
Kraig was born the son of Syl and Doreen Behrends Scholbrock on July 17, 1977, in Cedar Rapids. He was a student at Linn-Mar High School, where he participated in track and had just completed his sophomore year. He was a member of Linn-Mar Industrial Tech Club, FFA Chapter and St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Kraig will be greatly missed by his family, friends and classmates.
A memorial fund has been established.
