Antonia Helen "Toni" Kipp, 87, of Denver, died Thursday, March 5, at Northcrest Specialty Care, Waterloo.
She was born on Sept 7, 1927, in St. Lucas, daughter of Edward O. and Elizabeth M. Kuennen Wurzer on Feb. 20, 1951, she married Lavern Kipp; he died Feb. 14, 1987.
Toni was employed at the Denver Sunset Home for 25 years as a certified nurses aide and med aide and homemaker. She retired from the Denver Sunset Home in 1998. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Denver American Legion Auxiliary for 60 years.
Survived by: a son, John (Penni) of Waterloo; three daughters, Lindy (Dean) Roth of Rochester, Minn., Lanette (Tom) Potter of Cave Creek, Ariz., and Laureen (Bill) Jellema of Mason City; seven grandchildren, Jonathan (Leslie) Kipp, Natalie Kipp, Jessica (Chris) Hennessey, Stephanie (Crai) Thach, Matthew (Amber) Austin, William Jellema and Christina Jellema; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, Kenny (Elaine), Adrian, Eddie (Norma) and Greg (Helene) Wurzer; two sisters, Emma Wurzer and Elaine (Morris) Collins; a sister-in-law, Elaine Frana; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: her parents; three brothers, Clem, Edgar and Florian Wurzer; and two sisters, Teresa Kuehner and Jeannie Cole.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, with burial in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, both in Waverly. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Denver, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
