Peacefully in hospital on Friday, February 27, 2009, Thomas Mears of Metcalfe in his 92nd year. Dearly loved husband of Bernie (Belland). Dear father of Lynda Martel of Metcalfe, Colleen Mears (Roberto) of Ottawa, Tom Mears of Lillooett, B.C., Ann Mears (Jonathan) of Metcalfe, Margaret (Fred Young) of Winchester and the late John. Grandfather of Robin Martel. Fondly remembered by Maureen Running and Patti Smith. Brother of the late Lorne (late Charlotte) Mears. The family would like to thank Dr. Burke and the staff of the Winchester and District Memorial Hospital. Private Funeral Arrangements.
