In hospital at Almonte, on Tuesday, February 21, 1995. Helen Smith of Huntley, daughter of the late Peter Smith and his wife the late Eliza Mears. Dearly loved wife of the late Peter J. O'Connell. Beloved mother of Daniel, Terry (Berniece), Kevin (Gwen) and Marian (Richard Fletcher), all of Huntley. Sister of Mary McGrath of Aurora and Rita McCartin of Winnipeg. Predeceased by her son, Rory, daughter-in-law, Nancy and brother, Joseph Smith. Cherished grandmother of 12. Friends may call at the C. R. Gamble Funeral Home & Chapel, 127 Church Street, Almonte, for visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday to St. Michael's Church, Corkery, for Celebration of the Eucharist at 11 a.m. Spring interment St. Michael's Parish Cemetery, Corkery. Memorial donations made to the Almonte General Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
