Age 50. Passed away Feb. 1 at the home of her son, William W. Bird, 1924 Slauson Ave., Racine. Mrs. Bird was born in Sheboygan Falls, Wis. on Feb. 16, 1906, and had lived in Racine for two months. She was a member of the Yorkville Methodist Church and the W.S.C.S. of the church. Surviving are her husband, James; three daughters, Mrs. Albert Klein of Waterford, Miss Bernice Bird of Milwaukee and Mrs. Ronald Johnson of Racine; one son, William Bird of Racine, five sisters, Miss Elizabeth Herzog of Sheboygan Falls, Wis.; Mrs. William Toerpe of Sheboygan, Wis., Mrs. Albert Lacock of Erie, Pa., Mrs. Tony Promersberger of Jackson, Wis. and Mrs. Martin Labitzky of Reedsville, Wis.; two brothers, Otto Herzog of Sheboygan Falls, and Oscar Herzog of Elkhart Lake, Wis.; five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 4, 2 p. m., in the Yorkville Methodist Church, Rev. Guy Holliday officiating. Interment will be in the Yorkville Cemetery. Friends may call at the ROHDE FUNERAL HOME, Union Grove, Sunday afternoon and evening and until Monday morning when the body will be removed to the church to lie in state from 12 noon until service time. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the Yorkville Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
