George John Greenan, 62, died this morning at his home at 94 Veazie street, after a long illness. Born in the state of Michigan, Mr. Greenan had lived in Maine for 45 years. He was a boss carder in the woolen mill for many years, as long as health permitted.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Catherine Greenan of Old Town and three children, George Jr., Mrs. Cecelia Thomas of Old Town and Alfred of Bradley; also grandchildren, Roger and Timothy Greenan; three sisters, Mrs. Edith Theriault of Michigan; Mrs. Irene Green, Bangor; Miss Loretta Greenan, of R. I.; one half sister, Mrs. Lillian Anderson of Michigan and several nieces and nephews.
Remains are at his home, 94 Veazie street, until time of the funeral which will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Mary's church.
