M. Irene Green
M. Irene Green, 97, formerly of Pond Street, a practical nurse at the Rhode Island Medical Center for 30 years before retiring in 1965, died Aug. 15 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket Unit.
Born in Radner Forge, Quebec, a daughter of the late Nelson and Margaret (Burns) Green, she had lived in Woonsocket since 1950, previously living in Bangor and Old Town, Maine.
Miss Green was a communicant of St. Paul's Church, Cranston.
She leaves a nephew, Gerald Anderson of Salt Lake City, Utah, and two sisters, Betty Kirkham of Mesa, Ariz., and Loretta Hutchins of San Diego, Calif.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
