Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Greenan were to be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rev. John M. Anderson officiating.
Mrs. Greenan, 85, of Old Town, died at a Bangor nursing home, Nov. 27 following a long illness. Born in Winn, Dec. 24, 1886, she was the daughter of John and Mary Therriault.
A resident of Veazie street, Old Town, for many years, she made her home more recently with her son, George Greenan, at 345 South Brunswick street, Old Town.
She was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church of Old Town; the Old Town Grange; and the Senior Citizen's, the Relief Corps and the Macabees, all of Old Town.
She leaves two sons, George of Old Town and Alfred of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Boyington of San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Agnes Ouellette of Old Town; and four grandchildren.
Burial was to be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Old Town.
