Tim Greenan was born to Alfred Greenan and Joan (King) Greenan on August 7, 1944 in Bangor, Maine. He passed from this life on October 7, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Tim loved his life. He loved his home state of Maine and his French Canadian heritage. He loved his 14 years of service in the US Army, during which he traveled the world. He loved his years in the computer industry, during which worked in his beloved New York City. He loved his years in the automotive industry, and the years he spent in Phoenix, Arizona and Oklahoma City. He loved his work as Executive Director of a 911 center that served Doddridge and Ritchie counties in West Virginia. When he retired from that work, he returned to his beloved Oklahoma City where he spent the last 13 years of his life.

Tim loved his passions. He loved sports. He loved NASCAR. He loved antiquing and had an exceptional eye for treasures. He loved road trips. In his later years, he grew to love camping. He loved his animals – kitties Socks and Cleopatra and dogs Forrest and Stella. He loved improvisational comedy and was a beloved member of the Oklahoma City Improv community.

Tim loved his children, Terri and Eric. He was enormously proud of their talents and accomplishments and cherished their company and the many memories he made with them over the course of their lives.

Tim is survived by his daughter, Terri Greenan, of Oklahoma City; his son, Eric Green and partner Catherine Schmitt of Bangor, Maine; brother, Sean Greenan, of Oklahoma City; brother, Tony Greenan of Deer Island, Oregon; uncle, Virgil King of Portland, Maine; grandchildren, Jeremy and Smokey; his long-time partner, Debbie Brewer-Formhals of Oklahoma City; and many friends and relatives.

All who loved Tim and were loved by Tim will miss him dearly.

A memorial event for family and friends will be held at a future date, to be announced.
