William Joseph Lynch
Services for William Joseph Lynch, 76, formerly of Waterloo and recently of Pharr, Texas, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
He died in Pharr early Friday.
There will be a wake service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at O'Keefe and Towne Funeral Home, where friends may call after noon Sunday.
Born March 17, 1899, in Emmetsburg, son of John and Mary Farley Lynch, he married Bernice Thompson in Waterloo Dec. 28 1927.
He was employed for 26 years by Iowa Public Service Co., retiring as manager at Independence, Waverly, and Charles City in 1966. He was a World War I veteran.
Survivors include his wife and a son, William T. of Fort Dodge.
