Peter Hatlestad.
Peter Hatlestad, 76, of 813 West Lawn avenue, died Tuesday night in St. Luke's hospital following a long illness. He was born in Norway Sept. 10, 1864, and came to the United States in 1872. In 1919, he moved to Racine, obtaining employment as a painter with several
contractors. He was a member of Belle City court No. 1450; IOF, and the First Congregational Church on State street. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Adolph Peterson,
with whom he made his home; granddaughter, Miss Laverne Peterson; a brother, Rev. Anton Hatlestad of Mayville, Wis.; sister, Mrs. William Foreman, of Racine; son-in-law, Adolph Peterson, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday in the Dahl funeral home with Rev. Earl Ware Foster officiating. Burial will be; in the Rochester village cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday night and until service time.
