Age 89. Passed away on February 7, 1986, in Destin, Florida. She was born in Burlington, WI on October 2, 1896, to Henry and Josephine (Plate) Vos. She spent her early life and was educated in Burlington. At St. Mary's Church. Burlington, on November 27, 1923, she was married to Stanley J. Szydlowski, who preceded her in death on May 13, 1984. Following their marriage they lived in Burlington. moving to Destin, Florida in 1980. She was a housewife and mother, a member St. Mary's Church, Burlington, and of Corpus Christi Church, Destin, FL.

Surviving are four daughters and three sons-in-law, Joan and Dr. Herman Schauble of Paoli, PN, Rita and Alfred Strand of Shawano, WI, Mary Jo and Carl Napoli of Destin, FL, and Sister Paula of the Eucharist Lake Elmo, MN; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister. Elizabeth (Betty) Oldenburg of Burlington; also nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Edmund Vos.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday morning, February 15, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Burlington, with Rev. Robert Gosma officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on Friday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the MCCARTHY-KOENIG FUNERAL HOME, 101 E. State St., Burlington, with Vigil Service at 6:00 p.m. Friday.
