WILLIAM GILL DIES AT HOME OF SISTER
Word reached Burlington, Saturday, that William Gill, known here and a resident of Burlington for years, had died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Joe Biegel at Mantador, N. D. Mr. Gill died Saturday. His body was brought to Burlington early Sunday morning and the funeral will be held Tuesday morning at St. Charles church.
Mr. Gill was born in Burlington, April 1, 1875. Growing to manhood in this city he was united in marriage on Oct. 9. 1901, to Elisabeth Schemmer, also of Burlington. Following the death of his father, Jacob Gill, he took over the livery and bus line business which his father had operated and was in active charge of the business up to about a year and a half ago when ill-health made it necessary for him to retire.
