Age 86. Passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 13, 1984, in Destin, FL. Mr. Szydlowski was born in LaSalle, IL, on November 11, 1897. On November 27, 1923, he united in marriage to Marie Vos at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Burlington. They celebrated their 60th anniversary last November. Following their marriage they lived in Burlington. Mr. Szydlowski was formerly the owner of the Music Mart in Burlington retiring in January of 1953. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Church Organist for over 30 years.

Surviving are his Marie; four daughters, Joan and Herman Schaubel of Paoli, PN, Rita and Alfred Strand of Shawano, WI, Mary Jo and Carl Napoli of Destin, FL, and Sr. Paula of the Eucharist, Lake Elmo, MN; seven grandchildren; two in-laws, Edmond Vos of Antioch, IL, and Elizabeth (Betty Vos) Oldenburg of Burlington; two nieces.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 16, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Burlington, the Rev. Joseph Hanuska and Rev. Robert Gosma will officiate. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. this (TUESDAY) evening at the MCCARTHY-KOENIG FUNERAL HOME, 101 E. State St., Burlington, with the Vigil service at 8:00 p.m.
