Henry M. Oldenburg, 34, of Burlington died Thursday at Burlington Memorial hospital as a result of injuries received on Sept. 28.
Mr. Oldenburg, who was employed the Murphy Products company, suffered an injury to his leg when a pile of filled bags collapsed after he had removed one. On Wednesday it became necessary to amputate the injured leg, which had been badly crushed.
Mr. Oldenburg was born July 28, 1905, on the homestead near Brown's lake. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Oldenburg. His entire life was spent in this community. On May 5, 1934, he was married to Miss Elizabeth Vos.
Surviving are his wife and a son, James; three brothers, Edward of Lake Geneva, John and Ernest at home, and three sisters, Mrs. Harry Wuttke of Dover, Agnes and Helen at home.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m. Saturday in St. Mary's church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
