John F. Ketterhagen, aged 52 years, died on Sunday at his home on a farm near Stanley Wis., of tuberculosis of the bone, after being confined to his bed for several weeks. The remains arrived here over the Soo Line on Tuesday evening and funeral services took place on Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock from St. Mary's church, Rev. J. A. Van Treeck officiating, with interment in the Catholic cemetery.
Mr. Ketterhagen was born on the old homestead at Brown's lake and made his home in this vicinity until his removal to Stanley some six or eight years ago. He was married at New Munster on Sept. 24, 1895, to Miss Lizzie Busch, who survives the deceased, also four children as follows, Raymond, Alvina, Francis and Herbert. His aged father Zach Ketterhagen, is also living at Brown's lake and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Herman Koppelhoff, Mrs. Joseph Schiefer, Mrs. Robert Zabler and Mrs. Geo. Miller, Burlington; Mrs. G. Brooks, Rochester; Henry and Joseph Ketterhagen, Browersville, Minn., and Ben and Will Ketterhagen, Burlington.
