Armella R. Kerkman, 79, Slades Corners, died Thursday afternoon (Nov. 15, 1984) at St. Mary Medical Center, Racine.
Born March 24, 1905 in the Town of Wheatland, she was the daughter of the late William and Eleanor (Lois) Busch. She was a lifetime resident of the Town of Wheatland.
On Feb. 6, 1929 she married Gilbert J. Kerkman in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, New Munster. He died July 11, 1983.
A she was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and the church's Ladies Guild.
Survivors are two sons, Walter J. and Norman, Slade Corners; three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Ella Mae) Butler and Elaine Kerkman, Slades Corners, Mrs. Glenn (Shirley) Borst, Pell Lake; three brothers, Francis and William Busch, Burlington; a sister, Mrs. George (Dorothy) Schlitz, Burlington; 17 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Walter W. and Gerald; a sister, Edna Richter, and a brother, Albert Busch.
KERKMAN-Funeral services for the late Armella R. Kerkman, a resident of Slades Corners, who passed away Nov. 15th, will be held on Monday, Nov. 19th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, New Munster, with the Rev. J. Wolf officiating. Interment at St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the McCarthy-Koenig Funeral Home, 101 E. State St., Burlington. Rosary service at 8:00 P.M. Sunday.
