BUSCH, Mrs. Mary
Mrs. Mary Busch, 63, died Wednesday in St. Mary's hospital, Racine following an illness of over a month. Her funeral was held last Friday at St. Alphonsus Catholic church, New Munster, with burial in the church cemetery. The former Mary Ann Uhlenhake, Mrs. Busch was born December 28, 1886, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Uhlenhake. Her husband was Wm. Busch, who died in October, 1949. They were married January 10, 1913.
Surviving are three step-daughters, Mrs. Sylvester Richter of Burlington, Mrs. Gilbert Kerkman of Slades Corners, and Mrs. George Schlitz of Wheatland; four sons, William and Albert at home and Robert and Fritz of Burlington; three sisters, the Misses Catherine and Rose Uhlenhake of Rockford, Ill., Mrs. David Skogland of Long Beach, Calif.; six brothers, Henry and George of Burlington, Herman of Dover, Albert of Lake Geneva, Joseph of Wheatland, Frank of Rockford, Ill. and 15 grandchildren.

RE: DOB and DOD...
BHS puts DOD 23 Aug 1950, while I've found no official records, two separate obits put her DOD 30 Aug 1950.
DOB...well....lots of different dates here from Dec 27 OR Dec 28 in 1886, 1887, and 1888.
I'm going to assume BHS made a rare error on DOD, but stick with their near perfect track record on DOB.

Mary Ann Uhlenhake is the niece of Anna Mary Uhlenhake.
Mary married William Busch, a nephew of Henry Richter who married Anna.

Mrs. Mary Busch, 63, Wheatland Township, Dies
Mrs. Mary Busch, Wheatland township, died at St. Mary's hospital in Racine, Aug. 30, following a prolonged illness. She was born Mary Uhlenhake in Burlington township, Dec. 27, 1887, and spent her entire lifetime in the Vicinity. On Jan. 30, 1913, she married William Busch who died Oct. 24, 1949.
Surviving are four sons, Albert and William, at home, Robert Wheatland, and Francis, Burlington; three daughters, Mrs. Sylvester Richter, Burlington. Mrs. Gilbert Kerkman, Slades Corners, and Mrs. George Schultz, Wheatland; six brothers, Albert, Lake Geneva, Frank, Rockford, Ill., Joseph, Wheatland, and Henry, Herman and George, Burlington; three sisters, Rose and Catherine, Rockford, and Mrs. David Skoglund, Long Beach.
