Mrs. John Busch, 60, Dies at Her Home Saturday

 

Mrs. John Busch, 60, died early last Saturday morning at her home 521 Pine after an illness of over a year. Funeral services were held at St. Charles' on Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock, Rev. Charles Myers officiating, with interment in St. Charles' cemetery.

Mary Agnes Mahaney was born in Chicago August 20, 1884, and was the daughter of Julia (Barrett) and William Mahaney. Her earlier years were spent at the home of her grandparents on the Barrett farm southeast of Burlington. On February 10, 1900, she was married to Mr. Busch. Throughout their married life they have resided here.

Surviving are her husband, three children, Thomas Busch and Mrs. Vincent Siehoff, Burlington; Corp. John Busch, with the Army in Germany; and five grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Edward W. Mahaney; and two sisters; Mrs. Catherine O'Halloran and Mrs. Frances Schmidt, all of Chicago.

Mrs. John Busch Dies Saturday At Her Home
Mrs. John Busch, 60, died at 12:45 a. m. Saturday at her home at 521 Pine St. Death terminated an illness of over a year.
Mrs. Busch, whose maiden name was Mary Agnes Mahaney, was born Aug. 20, 1884, in Chicago, the daughter of Julia (Barrett) and William Mahaney. Her youth was spent at the home of her grandparents on the Barrett farm southeast of Burlington. She became the bride of John Busch in Febraury 1900. Mr. and Mrs. Busch made their home in Burlington throughout their married life.
Surviving are her husband, three children, Thomas Busch and Mrs. Vincent Siehoff, Burlington, Corp. John Busch, with the Army in Germany, and five grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Edward W. Mahaney, and two sisters. Mrs. Catherine O'Halloran and Mrs. Frances Schmidt, all of Chicago.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m. Tuesday in St. Charles' Catholic church. Rev. Charles Myers, pastor, will officiate. Burial be in St. Charles cemetery.
