Age 68. Passed away at Mount Carmel Care Center, Burlington, on Dec. 12. 1992. He was born on Nov. 17, 1924 in Brighton, Wis., to Edward and Mary Collins Busch. He spent his early life in Brighton and Burlington. and was a graduate of Brighton Grade School and St. Mary's High School. On Aug. 13, 1949 in St. Mary's Church, Burlington, he was united in marriage to the former Mary Epping, who survives him. He moved to Medford, Wis., in 1977, and returned to Burlington in 1989. Mr. Busch worked in automobile sales at Lynch Chevrolet for 29 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Anderson-Murphy VFW Post, Ross-Wilcox American Legion and Tri-County Disabled American Veterans, and Catholic Order of Foresters. He served with the 345th Infantry during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; one daughter, Diane (Peter) Rottier of Appleton: four sons, Rick (Mary) Busch of Kenosha, Steven (Laurie) Busch of Fond du Lac, Guy Busch and Brett Busch, both of Burlington; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Donald (Isabelle) Busch of Burlington, and his aunt Laura McCourt of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Michael Lee, sisters Lillian Riggs and Clara Brever, and brothers Victor, Walter and Raymond.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1992 at 11 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Burlington, with the Rev. James Volkert officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 4 until 8 p.m. at the McCarthy-Koenig Funeral Home. Memorials to the Burlington Rescue Squad, Respite Care, or St. Mary's School have been suggested.
