Alfred T. Sobbe, 87, Bur1ington, died at St. Catherine's Hospital.

Born Jan. 7, 1882, in Wheatland he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sobbe. He spent his early life New Munster and received his education in schools there.

He married the former Miss Katherine Busch on Jan. 19, 1909, New Munster. The couple moved to Burlington about years ago.

He was a retired farmer and caretaker at the Bushnell farm, Burlington.

In Burlington was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Mary Holy Name Society and the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Eugene, Wilmot, and Robert, Burlington; two daughters, Mrs. George (Lucille) Crowley, Burlington, and Mrs. Ray (Rosella) Schneider, Burlington; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a brother, William, of Wheatland.

SOBBE - Funeral services for the late Alfred T. Sobbe, 419 Origen Street, Burlington, Wisconsin, who passed away July 7, will be held on Thursday, July 10 and 10:00 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Burlington, Wisconsin. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, at the McCarthy-Rueter Funeral Home, 473 Milwaukee Avenue, Burlington. Rosary services will be held Wednesday at 8:00 p.m.
