Age 64. Passed away unexpectedly Feb. 5, 1972 at the Burlington Memorial Hospital. Mr. Richter was born in the Town of Burlington, Wis. on July 9, 1907 to Theodore and Rose Spieker Richter spent his early life in Burlington and was educated in St. Mary's Schools. In St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Elkhorn, Wis., on Nov. 19, 1930, he was married to Elnore Langley and following their marriage lived in Burlington. He was owner of the Richter Sauerkraut Co., Burlington. Mr. Richter was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, St. Mary's Ushers Society and Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are his wife, Elnore; a foster son, Bernard Esmond, Rockford, Ill.; father, Theodore Richter, Burlington; one brother, Albert Richter, Burlington; three sisters, Mrs. Fred (Loretta) Vogt, Burlington, Mrs. Robert (Lorraine) Daniels, Brighton, Wis. and Sister Vivian of St. Catherine's, Racine; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 8, 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Burlington, the Rev. J. Repenschek will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Burlington. In state this (Monday) afternoon after 4 oclock at the MC CARTHY-KOENIG FUNERAL HOME, 473 Milwaukee Ave., Burlington. Vigil service at 7:30 this evening in the funeral home.
