Loretta T Vogt, 88, died Thursday, November 21, 2002, at Holton Manor Nursing Home, Elkhorn.
She was born January 23, 1914, in Burlington to Theodore and Rose (nee: Spieker) Richter. She spent her early life in Burlington and received her education at St. Mary's Grade School. She married Fred P. Vogt on April 7, 1937, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Burlington.
A longtime resident of Lyons, Loretta was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, and the Christian Sodality of the church.
Survivors include her husband, Fred P. Vogt of Lyons; daughters, Roselyn (Bob) Raboine of Burlington, Carol (Dale) Miller of Burlington & Eileen (David) Henningfeld of Waterford; sons, Gerald F. (Colleen) Vogt of Merrilan, Richard (Joanne) Vogt of Plain, and Joseph (Amy) Vogt of Lyons; 25 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sr. Vivian Evelyn Richter & Lorraine (Robert) Daniels of Brighton; sisters-in-law, Ann Richter & Elnora nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clarence & Albert Richter; and grandson, David Raboine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will held on Tuesday November 26, 2002 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Lyons with Fr. Tom Fait and Dan Hull, Parish Director, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Monday November 25, 2002 from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home with a prayer vigil at 6 p.m. Memorials have been suggested to the American Cancer or St. Joseph's Catholic Church Building Fund.
