Mrs. Carl (nee: Margaret Robers) Grulich, 78, passed away at her home in Mesa, Ariz. on Saturday, January 18, 1997.
Margaret was born on December 21, 1918, in Bassett, the daughter of Bernard and Regina (nee: Richter) Robers. She was united in marriage to Carl Grulich on February 6, 1946.
She was educated at Bassett and St. Alphonsus grade schools and worked as a Licensed Hairdresser in Burlington. The first years of marriage were spent on a farm in the Salem area. Following this, they lived and worked in the Silver Lake and Fox River area. During this time, they were members of Holy Name Church in Wilmot. They retired to Mesa, Ariz. in 1980.
She is survived by brothers, Robert, Richard (Hilde), both of Burlington, and Edmund 'Mick' (Mae) of Ladysmith; a sister, Bernice Elderbrook of Burlington; sisters-in-law, Ester Wienke of Marshfield, Anna Frank of Bristol, Ruth Schultz of Silver Lake, and Janice (Ollie) Hunt of Antioch, Ill.; brothers-in-law, Albert Grulich of Texas and Ernest (Jane) Grulich of Salem; several nieces, nephews, and special friends, Claire and Al Jasinski and family of Scottsdale, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Grulich on April 20, 1993; sisters-in-law, Patricia Robers, Ethel Robers; and brother-in-law, Edmund Elderbrook.
A Memorial service will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in New Munster on Saturday, February 1, 1997, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to Hospice All Saints Visiting Nurses or St. Alphonsus Grade School.
