Age 58. Passed away on December 2, 1991 at Memorial Hospital of Burlington. He was born on January 7, 1933 in Burlington to Joseph and Anna Richter Tenhagen, and was a lifelong resident. He was educated at St. Mary's Grade School and a 1951 graduate of St. Mary's High School. Mr. Tenhagen began working for Larson-Hofner Men's Clothing Store in 1956 and subsequently in 1973 purchased the Business and used the name "Stag Shop". He was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Charter Member and past president of Burlington Jaycees, member of Burlington Chamber of Commerce, served on the Memorial Hospital Board of Governors from 1978-1988 as a member of the Finance Committee, member and secretary of the Burlington Rotary Club.
Surviving are cousins and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 26, 1991, at 7pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rev. David Reith, Robert Gosma, and Ed Trulek officating. Visitation will held on Thursday from 4-6:30 at St. Mary's Good Shepherd Chapel. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorials have been suggested to St. Mary's Schools, Inc., and Memorial Hospital Foundation.
