Andrew Richard Friesen, 61, and formerly a resident of Brooksville. Fla., died Friday, Sept. 12, 1980 in Belen, New Mexico. He was a native of South Dakota and moved to New Mexico 1 yr. ago from Brooksville. He was a retired technician with New Jersey Bell Telephone and a Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Helen; 3 sons, Gregg, Gainesville, Fla., Wayne and Drew, both of Belen, New Mexico; 1 brother, Martin of Sioux City, Iowa; and 2 granddaughters. Friends may call 2 'til 4 and 7 'til 9 p.m. Tuesday at Turner Funeral Homes, Brooksville Chapel, where prayer service will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, with Father David Heffernan, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Brooksville Cemetery.

Research notes for Andrew

While I have marked the 1940 census record as "Cannot Find" I do believe this record is a contender. The downside is this record vs. the WWII draft card which lists different POB, and job. Not impossible...but the POB is...well, it's what kept me from adding this as his 1940 record.
